Happy Birthday HyperCard is a celebration of HyperCard's tenth anniversary in August of 1997 -- a colorful gift of fresh flowers, delivered with song and a few other surprises we'll let you find on your own.
If you are looking for scripting examples, you will find demonstrations here of how to script PlainTalk voices to sing, multiple channel sounds, and colored text. The stack is dedicated to Bill Atkinson, creator of HyperCard, and to Kevin Calhoun, whose efforts over the years have made HyperCard the scripting environment of choice for thousands of dedicated users. HyperActive Software presents this stack as a gift to them, and to you. The stack will run on any color Mac with HyperCard or HyperCard Player version 2.1 or higher, but version 2.3 and PlainTalk are required to hear the songs. HyperCard's RAM partition should be set to at least 2500K. |
